Wedding Ring Workshops Mid Wales

Join me in my studio in the heart of Mid Wales, for a Wedding Ring Workshop and we’ll go on a journey of forging your rings as a lasting symbol of your love.

I will guide you through this most precious process of making your very own wedding rings. With over 20 years’ experience in designing and making with silver and gold, I’ll support you as we heat, shape, beat, and solder; using ancient silversmithing techniques to bring your rings to life.

Whether you wish to anchor your love in the dreamy silver of moonlight or the fiery gold of the sun’s rays, I can provide either.

When you contact me we will book a date and arrange a phone call to discuss your design so that I can prepare the studio in advance to meet your specific requirements.

Wedding Ring Workshops are tailored to suit the individual couple and start at £240

Mid Wales Wedding Ring Workshops are 3 hour workshops in my silversmithing studio in the Brecon Beacons, just 15 minutes from Brecon town centre. Absolutely No experience needed and all materials will be provided, including the essentials of refreshments and cake!

Silver or Gold?

One of the first choices we’ll make together is the metal. If you wish to work in gold, we’ll talk through the different types, yellow, rose, or white gold, and what carat suits your needs.

Whether you choose 9ct or 18ct gold, or opt for silver or another precious metal, each choice affects both the feel of the ring and the final cost. Once you’ve decided, I’ll place a custom order for your materials ahead of your visit.

Studio Workshops

Join me in my peaceful studio nestled in the heart of Mid Wales, where together we’ll embark on a deeply meaningful journey, crafting your own wedding rings. This is more than just a workshop; it's an experience of connection, creativity, and love, set against the backdrop of the wild and ancient Brecon Beacons.

You’ll learn the art of metalsmithing, guided step-by-step through traditional techniques that bring your rings to life. With a clear and reassuring structure, I’ll show you how to work safely and confidently with the tools and materials, whether you're complete beginners or have some creative experience.

Design

As a jeweller holding Wedding ring workshops in Mid Wales, I specialise in soft, hand-beaten textures and organic, faceted finishes, designs that echo the irregular beauty of our local rivers, hills, and ancient trees. These marks tell a story, not just of nature, but of the time you spend together here. The workshop will unfold slowly and intentionally, with space to connect, reflect, and enjoy the process.

Creating your wedding rings by hand is a beautiful ritual, that reflects your love and your commitment. The circle you shape becomes a symbol and a memory, forged with joy and meaning.

Finishing Touches

As the workshop comes to an end, we will clean and polish up your rings, I will provide a softly turned wooden ring box in which to keep them safe and protected.

They are then ready for your wedding day when you will officially exchange rings, with the added symbolic beauty that you forged them together, into the eternal portal of your love for one another.
