Mid Wales Funeral
Celebrant
As a Mid Wales funeral Celebrant, I draw deep inspiration from the beauty and stillness of the Welsh landscape that surrounds me. The rolling hills, ancient woodlands, and quiet rivers guide me in creating simple, nature-rooted ceremonies that honour each life with grace and meaning.
A funeral is a sacred moment to give thanks for the life of someone we loved. It’s a time to be with the memories, the stories, and the space they held in our hearts and our lives.
As your celebrant, my role is to help you find your way through this moving time. In conversation we will create a ceremony that reflects and celebrates your loved one’s life.
I will work in close connection with the Funeral Director and the staff at the Crematorium.
Once you have booked my services we will make an appointment to meet up in person or online, as soon as possible to begin the process of bringing your ceremony together.
Funeral Ceremony: £220
The Service
As a celebrant, it is my honour to guide funeral ceremonies in Mid Wales at your chosen Crematorium Chapel. These are spaces for reflection, love, and celebration.
The service we create together will be about your loved one, their life and the memories and stories you would like to share that best represent them.
Whether you choose to have hymns sung, poems read, or a eulogy shared, or all of these, I will be here to support you and your family in any way I can. Perhaps you have members of the family that would like to read poems and you’d like help finding the right ones, I am here to support these choices.
It is my belief that we can create beautiful ceremonies that are touched with the feeling of your loved one, we are there to collectively celebrate and appreciate the person they were and the life they lived, so I encourage you to bring as much of them in as you can.
Music
Music is a wonderful way to experience our love and memories. You are welcome to select songs your loved one felt an affinity with, or pieces that feel most representative of who they were, they can be joyful or reflective, or a mixture of these.
Photographs
You may have a slide show of up to 25 photographs on the screens in the chapel. This is an opportunity to enjoy seeing your loved one at different significant or every day moments in their life. We can have a pause for reflection with a chosen song to deeply appreciate these images. To say our own private prayers and blessings whilst celebrating the beauty of a life led in all the ways it was.

The Eulogy
It is always an honour to write a eulogy for a family and I am more than happy to do so.
If you choose that I write it for you, I will arrange a meeting in person or online, for us to gather stories and memories that I can weave into a piece that lasts around 6-7 minutes.
I am also here to support and encourage you and your family to write one between you if you have the feelings to do so. It can be a tender and raw experience, it can also bring in a beauty and relief to spend the time in contemplation.
Gathering in Nature
As a Funeral Celebrant in mid Wales I like to bring in the magic of our surroundings.
In the Peace Gardens of the crematorium, after the chapel service, we can gather in circle to honour the cyclical nature of life. In circle in these sacred gardens, we can reconnect with the elements of earth, air, fire, and water.
Together, we can light candles, scatter herbs, gather flowers, and create a focal point with photographs. In a shared silence or a spoken word, we can breathe in the fresh air and breathe out our grief.
These ceremonies offer a gentle, sacred moment for remembrance and release, a time to celebrate, and to find connection with each other, the natural world, and the enduring spirit of those we love.
